本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)定了鋼鍛件超聲檢測(cè)的協(xié)議條款、操作規(guī)程的編制、人員資格、設(shè)備和附件、校準(zhǔn)和檢查、檢測(cè)時(shí)機(jī)、表面狀態(tài)、靈敏度、掃查、分類、記錄水平和驗(yàn)收標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于鐵素體-馬氏體鋼鍛件、奧氏體和奧氏體-鐵素體不銹鋼鍛件超聲脈沖反射式手工檢測(cè)方法。供需雙方協(xié)商后也可使用液浸法檢測(cè)的機(jī)械化掃查方法。其他組織的鍛件也可參照使用。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)按形狀和生產(chǎn)方法將鍛件分為4類。1、2、3類為簡(jiǎn)單外形的鍛件，4類為復(fù)雜形狀的鍛件。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不適用于：致密的模鍛件、汽輪機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)子和發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)鍛件。

This practice shall be used when ultrasonic inspection is required by the order or specification for inspection purposes where the acceptance of the forging is based on limitations of the number, amplitude, or location of discontinuities, or a combination thereof, which give rise to ultrasonic indications. The ultrasonic quality level shall be clearly stated as order requirements.
